We have been on many tours in many cities, but no-one has matched Hannah and Henry.

He was so informative, entertaining and patient with us as we ended up going for about 5 hours (instead of 4) and he came out with us for a drink afterwards. On Wednesday we took one of your tours, the "The Third Reich Sites". » Ida was our guide and she was fantastic! She did a great job making the sites come alive and with her enthusiasm and skills managed to keep up our spirits throughout the tour although the weather was cold and rainy. Just thought I'd drop a quick note to let you know you've got a gem in » Hannah. I went on the Potsdam tour on Sunday, June 19th, with Hannah as the guide. It was a tremendous walk and Hannah knew the details of everything we passed. She really took us back in time. It was difficult getting on the train to leave Potsdam and arrive back in the 21st century. I'd rather stay lost in the 18th!

Our guide, » Gabriel, gave an insightful account of the use of architecture by the National Socialists and introduced us to buildings and sites that we would have otherwise missed during our stay in Berlin. It was great to hear about the history of the city whilst standing on the spot where events took place, I'd recommend the tour to anyone wanting to learn more about Berlin‘s war time history without straying into voyeuristic ghoulishness.

I was in Berlin last week with three friends and we took two of your tours; both were excellent - » Hannah on Discover Berlin, the perfect way to get oriented to the city, and Sachsenhausen with » Fabian; both were articulate and well-informed and dealt with the issues around Berlin and WW II with sensitivity; it is not easy to find the right balance in showing people around a concentration camp but Fabian did it most professionally; then at the end of quite a long tour, when I though Hannah might be flagging (and looking at her watch!), she gave an extensive and colourful description of the wall going down - great.

I participated in a Discover Berlin Walk with two of my friends from Chicago. Our tour guide was » Ida - it was a great experience. I arrived for the Berlin Walking Tour on Saturday and had a wonderful tour of Berlin with » Ida . I brought a couple of friends from the US with me and about 4 others from UK. We were all quite delighted with the tour and our compliments to Ida for the great job. It went into the perfect amount of detail and the added stories were great.

My friend and I took the 3rd Reich Walking tour today with » Fabian. He did an amazing job. He was so knowledgeable and well informed about all aspects of history. » Henry was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and it is a testament to him that everyone completed the whole walk even though we were in the middle of a thunderstorm and we were not prepared for the rain. We all ended the trip soaking wet but it was worth it.

Christina did an excellent job in communicating with ALL of us, in a clear and pleasant manner. Even though I am somewhat of a history buff and lived in Europe during World War II, as well as in Germany from 1974-1979, I learned a lot about the country, its history and its culture from Christina.

Recently, a group of us had the pleasure of visiting Budapest, Vienna, Prague and Berlin. During our 16 day escapade, we participated in a city tour at each location .
